01Why it exists
Made quickly, on purpose
Small builds that were finished the day they were started. They're listed as sketches so they stop reading as unfinished obligations, which is what happens to anything kept in a folder called “misc”.
02Parts list
- Haunted Explorer · DeceasedcraftTwo passes at atmosphere over mechanics. Neither became a game. Both were the point at the time.
- Space MapAn orbital toy, built well before the orbital mechanics got done properly in Cartograph. The interest preceded the rigour.
- Shopping Route · Creative ChallengeA route optimiser and a prompt engine. Both solved their afternoon and stopped.
03Construction
Graduated
Four sketches outgrew the pile and got pages of their own: Watch Your Grass (now a full game), Synodic, Balloon and The Monstrosity.
04Inscription
They are not unfinished. They are done.
05The same room
- TetherA one-finger rope-swinging game, open to everyone: real rope physics over lava through ten biomes with their own weather and soundtracks
- ThoughtformA first-person shooter set inside a mind under siege, built from nothing but maths: a hand-written raymarched world, live-synthesized sound and no engines, models, textures or samples
- Watch Your GrassArena defense on a 6×6 lawn: ten plant and terrain types, six kinds of visitor, drawn up on paper before a line of code and now playable in the browser.
- SynodicAny two dates placed on the synodic cycle, both moons drawn and overlaid, the gap between them read as a compatibility score.
- SidewaysA drifting game Claude made for Anders where the soundtrack is played by how you drive: get sideways and an arpeggio comes in, hold it and the bass and lead follow, every orb is a note on the beat
- Root CauseAn on-call detective game Claude made for Anders, unprompted: the pager goes off, the logs are full of red herrings, and you run real checks to find the first domino
