Notes, letters, pulses
Quick notes; sealed letters that are opened on purpose; one-tap pulses that glow in the shared sky.
Two stars orbiting one centre of mass. Messages travel between them as light, the sky draws closer when you talk, and nobody else, not even the server, can read a word.
Sealed in your browser · one space · two people · installable

Social apps and text messages were never built for the one person you talk to most. They're feeds, inboxes and ad surfaces with a conversation squeezed in. Barycenter starts from the other end: two people, one space, and a sky at the top of the screen that is the pulse of the relationship. The stars drift apart the longer it's quiet and pull together when you talk.
Everything is encrypted in the browser with a key only the two of you hold. The server keeps sealed bytes and the little it must know to deliver them: who sent it, when, how urgent.
Quick notes; sealed letters that are opened on purpose; one-tap pulses that glow in the shared sky.
Messages that open for the other person only at a chosen moment. The server enforces the lock and opens them on time.
Encrypted attachments, plus live voice calls and touch contact when you're both online.
Receipts from in-flight to answered, loud messages that re-alert until seen, and an SOS check-in that repeats until the other person taps “I'm here”.
Replies, edits, unsend, pins, reactions, polls, lists, countdowns, location, vanishing messages, games, a gallery and a studio.
History lives on the device and opens offline; an outbox sends when the signal returns; PIN lock, quiet hours, nine themes and a full decrypted export.
AES-256-GCM in the browser with one space key, wrapped under each person's own password. A Cloudflare Durable Object relays sealed messages over WebSockets and Web Push, and opens capsules with an alarm.
One space, for two people, set up once by its owner. It isn't a social network and there is no sign-up: if you weren't invited, the login is all you'll see. Push alerts say who and how urgent, never what was said.
